Pleated filter bags are industrial filtration elements designed with a pleated (accordion-style) structure to increase surface area while fitting into the same housing size as a standard filter bag. They’re used for dust collection, liquid filtration, and air filtration across many industries.
- High Surface Area
Pleats significantly increase filtration area—often 2–4× more than standard bags. - Longer Service Life
Higher area means slower pressure increase and longer run time before change-out. - Greater Efficiency
Can achieve finer particle capture depending on media (1–200 microns common for liquid; sub-micron for dust filters). - Lower Operating Costs
Fewer changeouts and reduced energy use due to lower pressure drop. - Retrofit Design
Usually fit into standard #1, #2, #4 bag housings or common dust collector cages.
